I am so glad that I bought Cam to see you – the relief I feel is immense. I feel as though finally we are heading in the right direction.

I really need some information. My six year old son is being given a IQ test. After meeting with a school psycholigist, his teacher and a deputy principal on monday morning and talking about his “disabilities” things such as confusing numbers and letters, how is fine and gross motor skills are bad and that he doesn’t listen very well in class, the psycholoigist said it sounds like he might have dyspraxia. She then went on to say that he will more then likely be average to above average in the IQ test. He is a very smart child with very good points. He has his problems, but his problems seem to be that the education is completely wrong for him. i can’t seem to understand how they can claim that IQ will be ok, but he still will find it hard to learn? Should they now start addressing how important it is that the education is changed so that he will do well at school? I am so sick of this, I am sure that he has dyslexia (there is a family history of it). From my small amount of research on the internet, it seems that there is a increase of dyslexia, are we going to keep ignoring these children? What a joke, not only are we forced to be told that his IQ will be fine, maybe even
above average but he is still dumb, on top of that I am forced to send them to school or face jail. Why would I put my child through that? Kids are mean but teenagers are murder and really I am not going to have my child made fun of.

So I am 100 percent behind you!! I hope that this happens, I am willing to move my family so that he can get a good education. If I have to move I hope that he can get into this school.
    Thank you!
