Reading and Spelling

Most pupils acquire the skills of reading and writing with comparative ease. The dyslexic child, because of his/her learning difficulties, will struggle to make progress when taught these skills by normal established methods.

If you want to know if your kid needs this course then please do this free on line assessment. An assessment for styles of learning.

Here are links to my demonstrating how to use various aspects of this course

If you can tick more than half on either test then your child has a learning difference. There are many different styles of learning. If your kid is at risk of having dyslexia, dyspraxia, Auditory Processing Disorder or ADD then be pleased, because these are the nicest set of kids and the ones most likely to become super rich or famous when they grow up. But they are also the kids that find it hard to learn the way mainstream education tries to teach them. They do not learn easily from the whole word approach. They have short term memory problems and tend to be more right brained.

They actually need to be taught how to read, how to spell and how to write. They need to know the rules and sounds of letters and how to build up and break down words.

Dead Easy Phonics teaches your kid all of this through games and fun activities.

This has been written gradually during the 35 years that I have been working with dyslexic kids and adults. It is the culmination of my life’s work so far. It formalizes how I teach, and now parents can buy this instead of bringing their kids to me for lessons every week.

I wrote this to fill a gap in education. Schools were asking me for something simple they could use in the classroom.

This is so simple that is foolproof. You do not need to know phonics or spelling rules to teach with this and you do not need to be taught how to use it. It is dyslexic friendly and you do not have to be a teacher or even read or write yourself to be able to teach your kids with this course.

Contains hundreds of phonic worksheets and phonological awareness activities.

It consists of audio files and printable work sheets, with simple, dyslexic friendly instructions that you can listen to by using a voice over.

It is designed to be enjoyable. Kids learn best when they are having fun.

It is also very simple with few instructions that are all in Plain English.

It can be read to you, so please read or listen to all instructions carefully.

Why phonics?

If your kid has a learning difference, if your kid is Dyslexic, Dysgraphic, Dyspraxic, ADD or ADHD then s/he will struggle with even basic literacy until s/he learns phonics.

Everything this site sells except Dyslexia - how to Win, and ADHD Drug free "Cures", are in this course and much, much more. Do not buy the other products as you will have them in this course.

This starts at the beginning, with basic letter sounds and goes through hundreds of spelling rules, in a structured and fun way, with games for learning irregular or “stupidly spelt” words and for teaching typing, writing sentences, simple poems and stories. It also advises how to do each activity, where to include it in the program and details of why it should be done a certain way.

I advise that you start the first printable worksheets at the pre-school age and continue it throughout primary school. But it is suitable for any age and can also be used for adult literacy.
